Mad Hatters and Easter Bonnets

Easter Time! A Spring awakening after a long winter amidst difficult times. Hay

Theatre CIC are here to offer some welcome respite as we begin our “Outdoor

Wonderland” project, funded by The National Lottery. We start by offering a

free mad hat making workshop in true Mad Hatter style.

Be as inventive as you like; we will provide materials but feel free to bring

along any mad ideas and bits and bobs to create your version of a Mad Hat.

Our creative team Johnny, Sue and Pauline will be there to guide you through

the fun. The morning of madness will be followed by a Mad Hatters Lunch, it’s

too long to wait for tea! Bring your own lunch and make that as mad as you

like too.

In the afternoon our artistic director Janine Sharp will lead drama games and

improvisations based on the theme of Alice in Wonderland.

If you are aged 7-16 and would like to be involved in this project, book a place

with us for our first Easter Hat Making session. Hats made will be used to make

a Mad Hatter’s Hat Tree for our show, given to audience members to wear, or

simply for you to take home.

The Mad Hatters Workshop is on Sunday April 10th 10-30-3-30pm at Glasbury Village Hall.
